Barbara M. Williams, 82, long time resident of Westerville and Grove City, passed away January 25, 2022 surrounded by her family. Barbara was born May 24, 1939 in her family's home in Central Square, NY to late Verna and Francis Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant son, Christopher Williams; sisters, Sharon Martin, Kay Roemer, and Patricia Fitzgerald.
Barbara is survived by husband, Gary T. Williams; son, Gary F. (Amy) Williams; sister, Micki Betts; many other extended family and friends.
Barbara was an OSU Redcoat for 27 years and was an office manager for Kirk Williams Company.
She did things her way and didn't have to give up any of the things she loved like her job as a red coat supervisor at OSU, her trips to see her buddies at China Bell and Cheers Too and everything else she loved. She loved life, her friends, and most of all her family. We are devastated and know our lives will never be the same. You are getting the rest you so desperately needed after going 1000 miles an hour for 82 years.
Visitation Friday, February 4, 2022 from 3pm to 6pm at Newcomer, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's honor to Cat Welfare Association or any animal shelter of your choice. catwelfareassoc.org
