Barry A. Duell, 62 of Columbus, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Kobacker House. Born June 14, 1950 in Troy, New York to the late, Clifford C. and Marjorie E. Duell Jr.
Barry was a Retired Navy First Class Personnelman. His career included time on the USS Saratoga and Fleet Mine Warfare School, Charleston, South Carolina. He retired from the US Navy Reserves after 39 years and 3 months of service. Barry worked for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation Services where he recently retired.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother, Stephen J. Duell.
Barry is survived by his brothers and sister, Clifford (Donna) C. III, Beverly J. Duell-Moore, Wayne D. (Joyce), David P. (Jeanne), James E.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held 4PM Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus. Burial at Sea at a later time.
