Beatrice Stelzer, 92, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born March 12, 1919, in Pomeroy, daughter of the late Hanson and Elma Roush Holter. In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Stelzer; son, Robin Nye, sisters, Hazel Wynkoop, Edith Sisson and son-in-law, Jim Strawser. She is survived by her son, Jack Joseph (Gina) Stelzer; daughters, Dianne Strawser and Valerie (Richard) Curry; brothers, David (Dolores) and Harold Holter; grandchildren, Vicky Mills, Gary and Dan Nye, Eileen Trombley, Tim Nye, Jennifer Lewis, Renee Canning, Christina Curry, Andrew Curry and Mandi Stelzer; eighteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd Columbus. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
