Beautfus L. Thomas Jr.

Beautfus Lee Thomas, Jr, 73, (better known as BT) of Columbus, departed this life on Monday, July 1, 2013.
He was a longtime employee of the Timken Company until his retirement. He was born on March 17, 1940 in Auburn, Alabama to the late Beautfus Thomas Sr and Elouise Green-Thomas.
On December 27, 1963, he was united in holy matrimony to Barbara Shaw and to this union was born one son, Timothy Earl Thomas.
Beautfus is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lurlene Brooks; 2 granddaughters, Satia and Siara; brother, Otis Thomas.
Memories will be cherished by his son, Tim and his wife, Lanicia and son, Rendele, Orlando, Fl; his former wife, Barbara Thomas-Lee; sisters, Louise Childs of Pontiac, MI and Frances (Larry) Pulliam, Auburn, AL; brothers, O.B. Thomas, Auburn, AL, Charles (Annie) Thomas, Nathaniel (Renea) Thomas; uncles, Will, Theodus (Rosetta), George Jr (Charlene) Green; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, from 11:00 AM until time of Service at 12 Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. Reverend Joel King will officiate.
Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH.
