Beecher Yates

 Beecher Yates age 70 of Columbus passed Friday, March 22, 2002 at his residence.
Beecher was a veteran of the Korean War and his decoration includes the Purple
Heart and the Combat Infantry Badge. He was a loving father, grandpa and poppy
and will be greatly missed by all who know him. Preceded in death by son Timothy,
parents Elva & Sally (Adams) Yates; sister Alverta Lewis. Survived by children
Sally Queen, James Yates, Kenneth Ray Yates, Sherry Yates, Hesstella (Frank)
Dehl, Ronald (Tawdy) Yates , Steven (Angel) Yates all of Columbus; grandchildren
Michael James (Sandy), Robert, Jason, Katrina, Brandon, Amy, Justin, Jessie,
Joseph, B.J., Ashley, Hollie, Breanna, Timothy B., Megan Mae and Crystal; great
grandchildren Skylar-Dawn, Bob-James, Louie, Niki; and his best friend and ex-
wife Ada for they will always be together. Visitation Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at
NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road
Columbus, Ohio. Funeral Wednesday 11 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Robert
Owens officiating. Interment in Grove City Cemetery.
