Benjamin Harvey

Benjamin Franklin Harvey, 94, died at home Thursday, October 4, 2012 in Gahanna.

He was born in Max, Nebraska to the late Alonzo Hattie Walker Harvey.

Ben served in the Navy on L.S.T. 491 in North Africa, Europe, and Pacific Theatres during WWII.

He worked for Franklin Art Glass for 21 years installing windows in many local churches in Columbus and surrounding towns.

He retired from COTA Bus in 1984 after 14 years.

He is survived by his wife, Doris of 35 years, his son, Larry (Linda) Harvey, step-son, Charles (Sharon) Fout, two grandchildren,, Sarah and Andy Fout, sister, June Leonard. Also close friend Marion Adams, Covington, OH.

He was preceded in death by Mary, his first wife, two sisters, Agnes and Mary Lou, 5 brothers, Everett, Virgil, Harold, Charles, Cecil.

No service planned.
