Bernard Cottrill, 72, of Canal Winchester, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at Mt. Carmel East.
He was born October 29, 1940 in Vinton County, son of the late Harry and Bessie Perry Cottrill.
In addition to his parents, Bernard was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Cottrill; sisters, Loretta Tucker and Linda Hatten.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Cottrill; sons, Bernie, Robert (Genevieve) and Ralph Cottrill; daughter, Katie Cottrill; sisters, Norma Jean Fielding and Rachella (Mike) Hickman; grandchildren, Abbi, Stephanie, Timmy, R.J., Kimberle and many close nieces, nephews and other extended host of family.
Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
Bernard was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.
