Bernard L. "Bernie" Granger Jr., 56, of Columbus, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at Mt. Carmel East. He was born August 21, 1954, in Columbus. Bernie was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Granger and sister, Michelle Lattice Granger. He is survived by his father, Bernard L. Granger Sr.; siblings, Pamela Jo "Pammy" Granger, Gary Brian "Dino" (Lori Elaine) Granger Sr. and Karen Marie "Cakie" Granger; nieces and nephews, Brian J. (Marquise) Granger, Albert (Crystal) Milner, Jason (Kim Stevenson) Granger, Michael (Angela) Granger, Melanie Crowley, Tayvin Zeigler, Gary Brian Granger Jr. and Aaron Granger; great nieces and nephews, Jordan, Michelle, Elijah, Brian, Albert, Christopher, Kymora, Mishiko, Michael, Amari, Jacob, Jasmine and J'Lynn; special friends, Sharon Thornton, Charla Ferguson and a host of other friends and coworkers at Smiths Medical. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 11:00-12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service beginning at 12:00 PM.
