Bernice Marcum, 92, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Kobacker House.
She was born August 20, 1920 in Wilson Dale, WV, daughter of the late Melvin and Laura Vance Marcum.
In addition to her parents Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis; son, Eddie; brothers, Clifford, Elias, Garland and Russell; stepbrother, Erwin; baby grandson, Terry.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura "Faye" (Edward) Brown; sons, Connard "Bo" (Betty) Marcum and Roger Marcum; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Mifflin Twp. Cemetery.
