Bertha Johnson, 86, of Columbus, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 1, 1925, in Knoxville, TN, daughter of the late Elizabeth Jiles. In addition to her mother, Bertha was preceded in death by eleven siblings. She is survived by her husband, Billy Johnson; son, Johnny (Dolores) Lowery; grandchildren, Amy and Jeff Lowery; two great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral service will be Monday, September 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Northlawn Memory Gardens.
