Bertha Munsell, 95, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born May 29, 1916 in McArthur, daughter of the late James and Adaline Ireland Downard. In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Rea Munsell. She loved flowers and her beloved dog, Cory. Bertha is survived by her son, Jim (Barb) Munsell; granddaughters, Amber (Dean) Ray, Sara Munsell and their mother, Iris; great granddaughter, Macie Ray; sister, Ruby Howison; niece, Tish; nephew, Warren; special friends Cindy, Madelon, Barb and all of the other neighbors. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the social worker for Riverside, Brendon Hurst and 7th Floor Comfort Care unit at Riverside and HomeReach Hospice. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HomeReach Hospice, Ohio Health Foundation 180 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43215.
