Bessie M. "Marge" Carney, 84, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 17, 2011, following a lengthy illness. Marge is preceded in death by her parents, Hilda and Alvin Lawson; brother, Harold Lawson. Survived by sister and care giver, Kathryn Wilder and sister, Virginia Rambo; stepson, Michael Carney; many nieces, and nephews; close friends and associates, Bridgette and Mike Fleming. Bessie, "Marge", was retired from Timken Roller Bearing and a retired Realtor. Visitation will be held 4-6PM Monday, March 21, 2011, at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service to follow at 6 PM. Reverend Scott Marier officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn will be private. Bessie's family would like to thank the staff at Villa Angela and Mt. Carmel Hospice nurses for their care and encouragement.
