Beth Boyle, 74, of Columbus, formerly of Apple Valley and Sebring, FL., went peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. Born November 25, 1933 to Rosa (Campbell) and Reece Oney in West Garrett, KY. She was a resident of Central Ohio for the majority of her adult life. Beth was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. She loved spending time with her family, reading and playing in several card clubs. Beth was a long time member of the Episcopal Church serving on the Altar Guild. For the past 8 years she attended Vineyard Columbus. In addition to her parents, Beth is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Oney and Barbara Grandon; brother-in-law, Leo Grandon. She leaves her children, grandchildren and family, whom she so dearly loved, to cherish her memory: Daughters, Teresa (Addison) Smith, Carolyn (Rick) Preston; son, David (Sandy) Boyle; grandchildren, Amanda (Jeremy) Cantwell, Addison Jr., Geoffrey Smith, Spencer, Connor, and Olivia Preston, Samantha Boyle; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Aislyn Cantwell. Beth is also survived by her dearly loved sister, Rita (Ron) Greiser; five brothers, all of whom she adored, Bill (Chris), Don, James (Carol), Jerry (Anita) and Larry (Jean) Oney. She also loved and was loved by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 6:00-8:30 PM at the Vineyard Church of Columbus, 6000 Cooper Rd. Westerville 43081 (park in north lot). Funeral service will be held at St. Edward Episcopal Church, 214 Fairway Blvd Whitehall, OH 43213 on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Beth's brother-in-law, Fr. Ron Greiser, officiating. Interment will be in Blue Church Cemetery, Sunbury. Contributions may be made to Home Reach Hospice c/o Ohio Health Foundation 180 E. Broad St Fl 32 Columbus, Ohio 43215.
