Bettie Lee Conley

Bettie Lee Conley, 89, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 with loving family by her side. Bettie was born in Columbus, OH on July 14, 1934 to Dorothy (Mitchell) and Ray Dunkle. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Danny Conley, daughter Kay Reed, sister Helen Wharton, and brother Ray (Bud) Dunkle.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children - Linda (Ike) Johnson, Danny (Colleen) Conley, Doug Conley, and Melissa Conley. Grandchildren - Dwight Reed, Bryan (Kendra) Reed, Tina (Norman) Harris, Criss Seabolt, Jamie (Adam) Legge, Angie (Harold) Johnson, Eric (Lilly) Johnson, Daniel (Shannon) Conley, and Shawn Conley. Twenty-three Great Grandchildren and fifteen Great Great Grandchildren. As well as many Nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Bettie will be fondly remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and friend. She truly had a heart of gold, and a laugh that absolutely filled the room. Besides spending time with her family, Bettie had a passion for plants, flowers, and all things nature. Evident by her thriving plant collection, and beautiful landscaping under that green thumb of hers. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, collecting unique rocks, as well as feeding the neighborhood birds, squirrels, and anything else that needed care. She was selfless, loving, and incredibly generous to all who knew her. Words cannot express how deeply she will be missed.

Visitation Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 10am to 12pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Graveside Service immediately following at 12:30pm at Concord Cemetery (old section), Grove City, OH.
