THE BETTY RAP
THERE'S A LADY NAMED BETTY
AND SHE AIN'T HEAVY
SHE'S BEEN HERE PERT NEAR 27
NOW WE'RE ALL A-WEEPING
CAUSE BETTY'S A-LEAVING
THAT ALLEN MURRAY
HE'S REALLY GRIEVING
THEY'VE KNOWN HER IN MORGAN
WE'VE LOVED HER IN ROANE
BUT NOW OUR BETTY SHE'S GONNA BE GONE
NOW BETTY DEAR
DON'T YOU SHED A TEAR
JUST STRUT YOUR STUFF,
SAY, "I'M OUTTA HERE!"
