Betty L. Bocook, lovingly known as Grandma, G.G. and Susie, 81, passed away on March 9, 2021.
She was born on December 26, 1939 in Columbus, OH.
Betty served as a habilitation specialist at Shalom House in Bexley, OH serving the developmentally disabled for over 20 years. She loved playing hand and foot every Sunday with Shirley, Sandy and Dorothy from her card club. Betty loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Clara Leasure, son, Donald Thomas Mills Jr., sister, Nancy Skeen, brother, Vernon Leasure.
Surviving family includes children, Tim (Mark Moore) Mills, Shelly (Mike) Martin, grandchildren, Derek Andrew (Abbey Crum) Mills, Ashley (Brad) Daniels, great-grandchildren, Sophia Daniels, Sebastian "Bash" Daniels, Nico Mills, Fallon Martin, Isaiah Martin, siblings, Shirley Hays, Pam (Bill) Huey and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 12pm to 1pm, Friday, March 12, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH 43065, where a funeral service will begin at 1pm.
Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
