Betty Louise Cornell, 82, of Thornville, formerly of Newark, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Manor Care of Westerville. She was born May 30, 1924, in Newark, daughter of the late Henry DeVere and Rosa Fenneken Moats. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by a brother, Henry Moats and a sister, Evelyn Krall. She is survived by a daughter, Denni (Michael) Savage; grandchildren, Jessica, Lyndsey, Stephanie, Adam, Zachary and Blake Savage; numerous beloved nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, May 25, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark, with Pastor Bethany Wallace, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 3380 Tremont Road Columbus, Ohio 43220. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
