Betty E. Pinnix, 88, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Stanley and Ilo Bayles in Springfield, OH., on January 4, 1922, Betty is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elmer G. Pinnix. Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca (William) Radebaugh; sons, Roger, (Debbie Mills) Pinnix and Mark (Jacqueline) Pinnix; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and many friends. Betty was an Emeritus member of the Lions Club. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010, 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation of Central Ohio, 3740 Ridge Mill Drive, Hilliard, OH 43026 or Nationwide Children's Hospital, 700 Children's Drive, Columbus, OH 43205.
