Betty Jane Ellis, 73 years old, went home to be with the Lord and her family, on Thursday, July 22, 2010. Betty loved to play Bingo, collect Longaberger Baskets, and spend time with her loving family. Betty was known for making everyone laugh, playing practical jokes, taking care of everyone, and her loving smile. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Susie (Stewart) Graves, and 8 siblings. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 56 years, Virgil Ellis, her loving children, two sons: Rick (Sandy) and Randy Ellis, two daughters, Vickie Ellis, and Robin (Mike) Straley, sister, Leda (Dick) Thacker, brother, Ovid (Mary) Graves, nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, and many more relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 27th, 2010, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, July 28th, 2010, 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 28th, 2010, at 11:00 AM, all at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
Interment in Londonderry Cemetery, Ross County, Ohio.
