Betty J. Long

Betty "Betsy" Long, age 76, passed away on March 27, 2022. She was born on December 4, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio.
Betsy is survived by her children, Duane (Pam Davis) Murray, Tammy (Chris) Foley, Nicole (Gene) Reece and Janie Long; grandchildren, Amber (Nolan), Logan (Robbie), Adam, Owen, and Trevor; great-grandchildren, Lillie, Royce, and Rhett; sisters, Judy West and Karen Burns; brother-in-law, Mike (Luann) Murray; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1979, Lyle Murray; second husband in 2020, Lowell "Tom" Long; parents, Harold and AnnaBelle Burns; In-laws, Hazel and Don Murray.
Betsy retired from Alton Hall Elementary after 30 years as an Assessment Aide. She enjoyed working out in her yard, gardening and flowers. Betsy loved spending time with family and grandkids.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or Alton Hall Elementary PTA.
