Betty Lou Bishop

Betty Lou Bishop, 93, of Westerville, passed away November 13, 2024.

Betty was born July 28th, 1931 in Eldorado Township, Illinois to Floyd and Eleanor (Williams) Baker.

Artist, gifted cook, storyteller and devoted family woman, she loved God, her family and her church, Westerville First Baptist Church, which she attended for the last 58 years.

Betty will be deeply missed by her children Dianne Bishop Hysell (Gary), Dr. Larry Bishop (Cindy), David Bishop (Donna); grandchildren Drew Hysell (Sarah), Lauren Hysell, Daniel Bishop (Amanda), Liana Bishop, Rachael Bishop Stanley (Tyson), Kyle Bishop (Becca); great-grandchildren Natalie Bishop, Leora Bishop, Johnny V Stanley and Grayson Bishop; brother Derwood Baker (Mildred).

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herman, her parents, Floyd and Eleanor Baker, and siblings, Don, Floyd and Dorothy Baker.

Funeral services will be the 22nd of November at 10:30 at the Westerville First Baptist Church with the Reverend Bryan Grove officiating.
