Betty L.(Spears) Smith

Betty L. (Spears) Smith of Orient, formerly from Portsmouth, OH, passed away April 30, 2012 after a long battle with Parkinson 's disease. Betty is preceded in death by parents, Richmond and Virginia Spears and sister, Barbara Bourne. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, James L. "Bud" Smith; son, Robert Smith; daughters, Jenny Fritz and Cindy (Doug) Lowe; grandchildren, Amber Blaine, Megan Carpenter, Jacob (Jaime) Lowe, Tyler (Jessie) Lowe; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Mason Lowe, Cohen and Maleia Carpenter; sister, Trish Reynolds; brother, Scott (Lisa) Spears. Private services will be held for Betty. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Central Ohio Parkinson Society.
