Betty M. Poling, 76, Columbus, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012. Betty was born in Gahanna to Levi and Catherine Murphy and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold E. Poling; grandson, Adam Cook; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra (Gary) Cook and Roxanna (Doug) Damron; sons, Rodney (Cindy) Poling and Charles (Sandra) Poling; sister, Louise McKelvey; brother, Robert (Phyllis) Murphy; grandchildren, Kasey, Karley, Mallory, Kaitlyn, Steven, Spencer; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.Betty was a member of AmVets Post 89 Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Thursday, May 24, 2012, 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville, OH. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the AmVets Post 89 Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, 3535 Westerville Road, Columbus, OH 43224.
