Betty G. Marchant, age 90 of Columbus, passed away at Worthington Christian Village on July 11, 2017. She was born on February 1, 1927 to the late Walter E. and Lula G. (Brown) Payne in Wheeling, WV. Betty is survived by children Douglas Marchant, Michael Marchant, Michelle (Robert) Furbee, Richard Marchant, Jeffrey (Denise) Marchant, grandchildren Ryan Wheeler, Jenifer Wheeler, Jason Marchant, John Marchant, Kimberly Marchant, 14 great grandchildren, siblings Carolyn and Bill. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Walter Eugene Marchant, son Kevin Marchant and a sister Sally Owens.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 9am until time of service at 11am.
Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
