Betty (Morris) Marcum, age 79, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2021. She was born on October 09, 1942, to the late Earl and Claire (Zurmhely) Morris.
Betty was a hard worker, working two 40 hour jobs every week. She was a baker at Meyers and a bartender at the Worthington Moose. She genuinely cared for everyone, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Bo Marcum; children, Duane Marcum, Angie (Kevin) Lyons, Lisa (Rodney) True and Brian (Tracy) Marcum; grandchildren, David Williams, Joey Marcum, Matt Marcum, Daniel Marcum, Heather Marcum and Katelyn Lyons; 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings, Sue Stimmel, Jill Workman, Jack (Twila) Morris and Charles Morris; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry Marcum; brothers, Ronnie Morris, Phil Morris and Ernie Morris; sister, Margie Moore; and her granddaughters, Nicole Marcum and Ashley Lyons.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, 43231, from 4-8 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 10 a.m., at Mifflin Township Cemetery, 155 Olde Ridenour Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
