Betty J. (Swartz) Mettler, 87, of Marengo, passed away December 28, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ivy Swartz; husband, Harold Mettler; daughters, Sue Dunahoo, Barbara Trusler; son, Roger Mettler; grandson, Randy and special friend, George Resch. Betty is survived by her sister, Gwen Kerns; brother, Robert "Bobby" Swartz; grandchildren, Elizabeth Clemens, Sheila Palmer, Tim Dunahoo, Francine Ndiaye, Angela Hobbs, Debbie Tubaugh, Jeffery Trusler and Beth Trusler; numerous great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Monday, December 31, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until time of service. Interment will be at Obetz Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
