Betty was born April 25th, 1956 in Chesterhill, Ohio to George and Helen Goins. Betty, a devout believer in Christ, enjoyed spending time with family, reading the Bible, and attending Church regularly. Betty married her husband Lawrence C. Scott, Sr. in October of 1984. Betty retired from West Central School operated by the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Betty was preceded in death by Lawrence C. Scott Sr. (husband), Helen Goins (mother), George Goins (father), Donald Goins (brother), Malcolm Goins (brother), Sheron Goins (brother), Freda Goins (sister), Paula Goins (sister), Diana Goins (sister), and Rita Goins (sister),
Surviving Betty are her four children Enga Fuqua, Lawrence C. Scott, Jr (Brittany), Dwight Scott (Channak), Alyson Tucker (Brandon); ten grandchildren, James, Madelyn, Nick, Larry III, Deon, Major, Brandon Jr, Drake, Asher and Lillian; six siblings Patty Guinther (Gary), Ellen Goins, Almeda Smith (Marshall), Shena Goins, Tina Goins, Rickie Goins (Candace).
Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 8:30am until time of funeral service at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
