Beverly Arlette (Riley) Cholley

June 18, 1942 — November 17, 2023

Beverly Arlette (Riley) Cholley, 81, entered the gates of Heaven very unexpectedly, on Friday, November 17, 2023 in Westerville, Ohio. She was born in Marion, Ohio.

Beverly will be greatly missed by her son Jeff Cholley (Karen), daughter Susan (Cholley) Hammond (Chris), and her grandchildren Mitchell, Jordan, Amber and Cormac. She is further survived by her brothers, Bruce Riley and Bud Riley (Anne); her sister Belinda (Riley) Spasoff (Tony); and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Cholley, her son Thomas Cholley II, her parents, Burton and Margaret Riley (Danner), her sister Barbara (Riley) Peacock, brother-in-law Jim Peacock, her brother Byron Riley, her sister-in-law Penny Riley and her sister-in-law Anne Riley.

Beverly graduated from Harding High School in 1960. She then attended The Maumee Valley School of Nursing in Toledo, OH and received her diploma, becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). She loved her group of friends there and was on the girls' basketball team. She used her nursing skills her whole life, working in ER, working at a dental office, being the neighborhood nurse, and caring for everyone around her.

Beverly met her husband, Tom, on a blind date in college. On their last Anniversary they celebrated 57 years of marriage. Not a day would go bywithout them saying, "I love you" to each other. What a testimony of true love and faithfulness; and now together again. They would always say to any new couple getting married, "Don't let the sun go down on your anger." In other words, stay up, work it out, your relationship is worth it!

Beverly was a member of Quest Vineyard Church Westerville. Over the years she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, and taught lessons on "how-to forgive." It was extremely important to love God first and foremost. Beverly was also a published author. She journaled many visions that the Lord had given her over the years. Then she put many of them into a book to bless others and do His work. It is titled, The Lord says, I want to talk to you, yes you!. She had a love for God's truth and prayed for herself, her family and friends daily.

Beverly enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida, with her family. She loved to read, particularly anything related to the Bible or Heaven. You could always depend on her. She was loyal, dedicated, faithful, honest and gentle. She strived to show kindness and intentionally cared for everyone. If you needed prayer for anything, she was always readily available. We are so blessed to have had Beverly in our lives for as long as we did.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 29, 2023 at Quest Vineyard Church, 4877 Central College Rd., Westerville, Ohio 43081. Memorial Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday November 30, 2023 at Quest Vineyard Church with Pastor Ross Adelmann officiating.
