Beverly J. Patterson

Beverly J. Patterson, 67, Columbus, joined her husband and son in Eternal Life, Thursday, April 11, 2013. Beverly was born in Columbus, OH on January 14, 1946, to Jesse and Virginia (Jordan) Wilson and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Washington Patterson, son, Christopher Patterson, sisters, Joyce Lucas and Donna Madden; brother, Robert Wilson.
Survivors include her daughters, Erika and Jessica Patterson; brother, William L. Wilson; granddaughter, Raennah Webb; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Beverly was a long time member and secretary of Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church. In 1966, Beverly conceived of an idea to form a club among the young or newly married wives. This club was to foster culinary skills, provide a support system for friendship and to help others in need. The Better Halfs Club will celebrate 45 years of existence in June 2013. They have fulfilled all of Beverly's initial goals.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 3650 Sunbury Road, Columbus, OH 43219 with the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
