Beverly A. Lester, 68, of Westerville, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Red and Clara Shelton in Columbus, OH on March 19, 1940, Beverly is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Deborah Castle. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Lester; daughters, Rhonda (Gary) Brewer and Deanna Howell; sons, Shawn (Lynn) Lester, Jim Goodwin and Robert (Amy) Goodwin; brothers, William (Alice) Chance and Donnie Shelton; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; numerous family and friends. Beverly was an active member of Genoa Baptist Church, especially Wednesday night. Beverly was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, 2-4PM & 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2008, 11:00 AM at Genoa Baptist Church, 7562 Lewis Center Road, Westerville, OH 43082, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memory Garden, Westerville, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the family.
