ADAIR

Billy C. Adair, 81, Columbus, passed away peacefully at home on November 27, 2010. Billy was born in Delbarton, WV to the late James and Vina Adair and is also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Darlene; daughters, Judy Adair and Susie Hoosier; brother, Noah; sisters, Clara, Betty, Loretta; great grandson, Cole. Survivors include his daughters, Connie (Terry) Feder, Sandra (Eddie) Jones; sons, Billy Adair and Perry (Mary) Adair; son-in-law, Danny Hoosier; 18 grandchildren, Darla, Jason, Timothy, Matthew, Paul, Elizabeth, Nick, Dustin, Shaunda, Cassandra, Ashley, Brandon, Lauren, Jaydon, Doug, Delorse, Eva, Susie; 31 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ann Adair; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Bill served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired from the State of Ohio's Auditors office. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, gardening and yard sales. He loved God and was a very devout member of the Church of God. He was always happy and a lot of fun and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank HomeReach Hospice and his nurse, Sharon, for their comfort and care. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, 5-8PM and one hour prior to the service, at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, 11AM at the funeral home. Pastor Mike Nichols will officiate. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery.
