Billy Castle, 72, of Columbus, passed away Monday, January 26, 2009 at We Care Health Facility. He was born October 20, 1936, in Gallipolis, son of the late Garfield and Wilma Thivener Castle. Billy retired from Arrow Concrete with 32 years of service. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman and bowler. Billy was a devoted husband and wonderful father. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara Jackson Castle; sons, Jim, Ron (Lea) and Tim (Johnna) Castle; brother, Bob (Wanda) Castle; sisters, Betty Brown and Patty (David) Evans; grandchildren, Jamie, Joel, Morgan and Carly Castle and Cara (Chad) Readout; great grandchildren, Kylie and Cami. Visitation will be Friday, January 30, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
