Bill L. Trimble, aged 80 of Grove City, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, January 8th, 2023.
Bill was born in Piketon, Ohio on May 20th 1942 to Francis V. Trimble and Ruby Kathryn Trimble. He served for the United States Army and was a member of many churches in his life. He was employed by such places as Robbins & Myers and Janitrol Aerospace. He was an aircraft machinist, metal machinist and carpenter by trade and enjoyed designing and building projects. He was an avid fisherman and earned a Fish Ohio certificate for Outstanding Catch by reeling in a 21.5" largemouth bass from Clear Fork Reservior.
Bill will be deeply missed by his wife, Eva Trimble (Untal) of 41 years. He is survived by his sister, Betty Stewart, by his children, Stephen (Janet) Trimble, Cheryl (Chris) Lozier, Tamra (Sean) O'Malley and grandchildren, Stephen Trimble, Jr., Kaitlyn Lozier, Tyler Druck, Cullen O'Malley and several great-grandchildren and many valued friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Delores Allen and grandson, Matthew Stewart.
A private family service will be held at Newcomer Southwest Chapel. Interment of ashes and Military Honors will take place at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio at a later date. A celebration of life is being planned for the near future.
