Sunrise June 7, 1949 Sunset May 10, 2022
On May 10, 2022, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, Bonnie Louise Cordle of Columbus, OH passed away at the age of 72. She will be dearly missed by Sister Darlene Vogt; Children Tammy Stevenson (Andre) and Jennings James Douglas Cordle (Keneitha); Grandchildren Brandon Cordle, Rayshawn Mincey, Terrance Mincey, Shanice Cordle, Nhyjil Colbert, and Jennings Cordle; four Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents Jennings & Norma Cordle, Brother Jennings "JR" Cordle, Sisters Ann Meritt, Sue Snyder, Norma Jean Cordle.
Bonnie attended Pleasant View High School. She was a life long Caregiver, Licensed Beautician and a wonderful cook. She was a dedicated parent working with Chapter 1 and PTA, as well as a proud Military Mom and Grandmother. She retired as a Home Healthcare Provider.
Bonnie enjoyed shopping, gardening, and collecting frogs, but there was nothing she enjoyed more than having a cup of coffee, a cigarette and a phone conversation about what's going on in the neighborhood. Known as being unapproachable or stand offish, but those that knew her well, knew that she would give her last penny to help if she could. Bonnie didn't earn much in wages, but was amazing with managing money. She never asked for help with her bills and departed this earth with a mortgage paid in full, 2 vehicles and zero debt.
Death is not the opposite of life, but a part of it. We will treasure all the memories: good, bad, happy, and sad as they have shaped our memories of you. We will shed tears that you are gone, but also smile because you lived. The Lord has called and said, "Your table is ready." Rest easy, WE LOVE YOU!
Visitation Friday, May 20, 2022 from 5-7pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Alton Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
