Bonnie Lou Summanen

Bonnie Lou Summanen, age 74, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital. She was born on Saturday, June 2, 1945 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Robert E. Hatfield and Mary V. Bartlett. In 1992, she married Carl Guy Summanen who preceded her in death January 20, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as husband, Guy. She is also preceded in death by her son, Gale V. Grubb; ex-husband, Ken Henke.

Bonnie is survived by her Children, Tammy Brown and Melissa (Craig) Lantzy; Step-Children: Beth (Brian) Chesney, Jack (Colleen) Summanen, Joe (Alayna) Summanen, as well as Jill, Jeff, and Jon; 10 Grandchildren: Devon (David), Brittany (Anthony), Jacalyn, Ryan, Zachary, Tyler, Jack, Gabriel, Emily, and Ella; 6 Great-Grandchildren, Gabrielle, Kaydence, Makenzie, Cooper, Caleb, and Amelia; as well as Brother, Robert Hatfield. Bonnie is also survived by many other family members and dear friends.

Due to COVID-19, funeral services will be private, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
