Boyd Tracy Scott, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January, 29, 2023. His family was devastated by this loss and they were completely unprepared.
Tracy was born on April 18, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio to Neil and Virginia (Ginny) Scott. He attended Columbus Public Schools and following high school, he began working with the City of Columbus, where he was employed for several years, until he decided to pursue self-employment, thinking it would allow him a bit more freedom, as he was quite a free spirit at that time. Tracy loved the outdoors, to fish, to plant in his garden and work with his hands in the dirt. We always said he was a farmer at heart.
Tracy got hooked on motorcycles early in life and soon became a lifelong motorcycle lover. Whenever he got the urge, he would go – just him, God and his motorcycle. He has ridden from Columbus to Tennessee, to St. Louis, many times to Kentucky, and wherever else he felt like going. His mother wasn't happy about those long trips, and he'd usually manage to "forget" to let her know about them until he returned.
Tracy became a member of the Rare Blood Motorcycle Club at age 18, and was their president for a few years in the mid 80s. He was considered a retired lifer of the Club. His passion for motorcycles is what led him to becoming an excellent mechanic and maintenance man. He could fix just about anything.
Tracy was an amazing husband, father and grandfather and his children were the pride of his life. Anyone who knew him, knew that he was incredibly kind hearted and would give whatever he could to help anyone in need, not taking into consideration his own physical challenges.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Neil and Earleen Scott, and by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Hattie Painter. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Cynthia; children Robert (Robbie) Ryles, Troy and Faith Scott; grandchildren, Ranaan Ryles and Sophia Ryles; his parents, Neil and Virginia (Ginny) Scott; brothers, Duane (Michelle) and Aaron (Kerry) Scott; numerous other relatives and friends, as well as his little furry shadow, Okami. We miss him more than words can say.
"You're forever in our hearts."
