Bradley Delong age 59 who was called to be with his lord in heaven surrounded by family on December 13, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Brad was born September 29, 1962, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Johnathan Alder High School in 1980. He graduated from Columbus State Community College graduating with a degree in electronics in 1982.
During his professional career he worked for Coca-Cola and he worked for several years selling life insurance for healthcare workers. He was highly regarded for his honesty and was well respected and won many awards for his work.
Brad was a devout Christian and enjoyed sharing his faith and witnessing to others. He was proud to be a Christian and loved to spread God's word. Brad was a member of the CrossPointe Church in Westerville, Ohio.
Brad was a loving husband and father and was happily married to his wife Cyndy Delong for 39 years. They were high school sweethearts and were rarely separated.
Brad is survived by his loving wife Cindy Delong, 3 children Arielle Lynch, Ashley Delong, and Cory Delong and 7 beautiful grandchildren. He is also survived by his father Norman Delong, Mother Rosemary Caldwell, stepfather Jay Caldwell, Aunt Vickie Derby and sister Stephanie Delong.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Norman Delong Sr, Grandmother Florence DeLong, and Grandfather Ralph Kent and Grandmother Doris Kent.
He was an avid Ohio State University Buckeyes fan and volunteered at their football games. He loved golfing and enjoyed going to the beach with his family.
Brad will be missed as a loving husband and father. Through his example he has helped pass on the word of God to many individuals. His family feels blessed to have had him in their lives.
Family and friends are invited for visitation on Thursday December 23, 2021 beginning at 10 am and a Memorial Service at 11 am at CrossPointe Church at 119 North Cleveland Ave. in Westerville Ohio 43081. Remains will be entombed at South Old State Road Cemetery at a later date. Family requests in leu of flowers any donations can be sent to Newcomer funeral home in Powell Ohio to assist the family. Family kindly requests all attendees to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status to honor Brad who died from COVID 19 issues.
