Bradley James Kauffer, age 38 of Mount Sterling, passed away suddenly Friday, February 19, 2010 at OSU East Medical Center. Brad was born in Columbus June 2, 1971. He was a 1990 graduate of Grove City High School. Brad was a loving father, son, and brother and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Prussia Kauffer and stepfather, Myron Crawford. He is survived by his son, Brandon Kauffer; daughter, Breanna Kauffer of Washington Courthouse; father, James Kauffer of Columbus; mother, Peggy Crawford of Mt. Sterling; grandmother, Nannie Simpers; siblings, Bryan Kauffer of San Diego, CA, Brandon (Stacy) Kauffer of Powell; half brother, James Kauffer; step sister, Kimberly Crawford of Columbus; nephews, Michael Sullivan, Brenden Kauffer, Jaiden Sullivan, Kaden Kauffer and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Bradley had the biggest heart and love for his children and family. He always was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who was in need. Brads passing came as a shock and he will be sadly missed by his family, friends and anyone who had the opportunity to have known him.
