Brenda Merle

Brenda Sue (Wright) Merle, age 69, passed away on March 22, 2023. She was born on April 4, 1953 in Lockbourne, Ohio at the Lockbourne Air Force Base to Gordon Malcolm Wright and Mary (Stevens) Wright. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Merle; father, Gordon Malcolm Wright; and brother, Kevin (Terri) Wright. Brenda is survived by her daughters, Marianne Cummings and Michelle Huffman; grandchildren, Charles (Courtney) Cummings, Alex (Michaela) Cummings, Sean (Coleby) Barrick, Aaron Cummings, Courtney Merle, Celina Huffman, and Jacob (Tessa) Huffman; great grandchildren, Nolan, Kinslee, Everleigh, and Alexander Cummings, Bryce and Brielle Merle, Raelynn, Colton, and Elijah Gabriel, and Meilana Huffman; mother, Mary (Stevens) Wright; brothers, Larry (Judy) Wright and Duane (Peggy) Wright; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Brenda often enjoyed playing Yahtzee, reading, and dancing. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be missed by everyone. Friends may call at the NEWCOMER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and again on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2:00pm until time of funeral service at 4:00pm.
