Brenda Rupe-Dalzell

Brenda Rupe-Dalzell, age 72, of Crooksville passed away on December 2, 2022 after a long battle with dementia. She was born on November 3, 1950 in Columbus to parents James and Eleanor O'Neil. Brenda is preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Fred Rupe Jr. and her husband of 7 years, Walter Dalzell; son, James L. Rupe; father, James O'Neil Sr.; brother, James O'Neil Jr.; sister, Lorri Rupe and grandparents, Oliver and Grace Kelly.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Tara (Donny) Strader; granddaughters, Sierra Strader, Deana Strader; mother, Eleanor O'Neil; sisters, Tamara O'Neil, Kimberly O'Neil; and many other family and friends.

Brenda was a graduate of Central High School and retired from Defense Supply Center Columbus. She was a woman of strong faith and attended many churches throughout her life. She was an avid outdoorswoman that loved hunting and fishing. Brenda enjoyed the farm life and bird watching. She will be greatly missed and kept close to our hearts.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad Street.
