Brian J. Shomock

Brian Joseph Shomock born on April 11, 1964 in Detroit, MI passed away on November 8, 2023 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Brian is survived by his wife (Stefanie Shomock), 2 daughters (Molly Shomock and Kaylla Olds), 1 son (Carter Shomock), 2 brothers (Duane Shomock and Craig Shomock), and 2 sisters (Andrea Shomock and Roseanne Cunningham) along with many other family members that will dearly miss him. Predeceased family of Brian's include Phyllis Shomock (mother) and Bernard Shomock (father).

Brian lived in Powell,Ohio with Stefanie, Molly, Carter and their beloved dog, Charlie. He was employed by Hewlett-Packard. He attended church at Lifepoint Church in Lewis Center.

Brian enjoyed entertaining friends and family and cheering on the Michigan Wolverines, but his favorite role was being a husband and father. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Cheering for Molly at OOHS and EKU volleyball games and watching Carter play volleyball with his club team and OHS, brought the biggest smile to Brian's face. Coaching youth sports teams over the years brought Brian so much happiness. He had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal and brave. Brian always took care of others first and was a friend to many.

A memorial ceremony for Brian will be held on Thursday, November 16 at Lifepoint Church, 7404 Graphics Way, Lewis Center, OH 43035. Visitation with the family will be between 1 and 3pm with a memorial service at 3pm.
