Bruce Harrison Blankenship "Popeye", 51 of Hilliard passed away April 9, 2006 at his residence. He was born on April 27, 1954 in Williamson, W.V. to the late Crocket and Irene (Basdin) Blankenship. Bruce is preceded in death by his Parents, and his Sister, Nancy Decker. He is Survived by his Loving Wife, Becky Blankenship (James); Sons, Johnny James, Greg (Kassi) Blankenship, and Rick (Amber) Miller, III; Former Daughter-in-law, Crystal Blankenship; Brothers, Pat Blankenship, Keith (Kathy) Blankenship, and Mike (Sherry) Blankenship; Jerome, Jim, Arville, Ronald, and Denvil Curry; Sister, Dorothy Justice; Brother, Frank Blankenship; Grandchildren, Hannah Bell Blankenship, and Travis Timothy Blankenship; Nieces, Michelle, Christina, Deborah, and Delores; Nephews, Joe, Brad, Jeremy, and Jerald. Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 13, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mifflin Township Cemetery.
