Bryan Wade Wysong

Bryan Wade Wysong, age 52, born in May 1969, passed away on November 10, 2021. Bryan was born and raised in the Grove City area. He graduated from Westland High School in 1987 and then from The Ohio State University in 1992. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in English Literature with a minor in the Greek Classics.

Though his career was in banking, he never lost his passion for the written word and could always be found with a book in hand or reading from his Kindle. Bryan had a life-long love for his Buckeyes as well as for music of all kinds and could frequently be found dancing the night away with his "Line Dance Family." Bryan also enjoyed online games and video games, spending many late nights battling monsters with family and friends.

Bryan is survived by long time love, Marion Wilcock; his son, Matthew Wysong; sister, Kristina (David) Rousselle; brother, Kevin Wysong; brother in spirit, Dwayne Byrum; ex-wife, Christy Mayer Wysong; and nieces, Dream Scarberry, Tara (Joe) Hopkins and nephew, Joshua (Jessica) Ferguson; numerous great nieces and nephews; and many loved extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Kathleen Wysong., and niece, Kara Ferguson.

Please join the family in celebrating his life on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Viewing and family visitation will be from 2-4 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 4 p.m. Family and friends are invited to continue the celebration after the service at Bryan's favorite restaurant, Eastern Palace, 6078 East Livingston Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43232.
