Bryce Fugitt, 75, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Lucasville, Ohio, son of the late Zachary and Margaret Neely Fugitt. In addition to his parents, Bryce was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Ratcliff; brothers, Chuck and Benny Fugitt; sisters, Shirley Keaton and Avena Nelson. He was a member of NAUS and V.F.W. Post 4044. Bryce is survived by his wife, Liz; sons, Steve (Tina), Lee "Butch" and Kenny (Carol) Fugitt; daughter, Karen Hedrick; brothers, Don, Jonathan and Garry (Vicky) Fugitt; stepson, Bill (Judy) Werts; uncle, Harrison "Kink" Neely; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two step grandchildren and one step great grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home S.W. Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery. The family deeply appreciates the sincere kindness of Lucy, Kathy and the rest of the staff at HomeReach Hospice.
