Buddy Lee Boals

Buddy Lee Boals, age 83, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away on February 9, 2025. Buddy was born on September 17, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Clarence and Mary Boals.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Elizabeth Johnson, his brother, Jeffery Boals, his best friend/ brother-in-law, Donnie Smith, and his long-time neighbor/co-worker, John Arthur.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Boals, his children, Cathy, Brian, and Jimmy, his 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was a friend to all, and a mentor to many. He always had his tool box ready, willing to help anyone with his car gassed up and ready to go. He was a 1959 graduate from Linden-McKinley High School. He was a longtime Tool and Die Maker. He retired from Dayton Rogers in 2007. Buddy loved Route 13 and traveling down through the Hocking Hills.

He will be deeply missed.
