Bunni Gersper

Bunni Marie Mercedes Gersper, age 33, of Columbus, Ohio passed away September 9th, 2022.

Bunni grew up in Powell, Ohio where she attended Olentangy Liberty High School. Bunni was a creative, talented artist and loving mother. She is survived by her son Phoenix, loving partner James Spadafore, mother and stepfather Kelly and Dave Williamson, father John (Beth) Gersper. Siblings Johnny Gersper, Alison (Ian) Bonner, Timothy, Ellyn, and Manny Gersper. Grandparents Carol "Nana" Goodnight, Bob and Patti Burhenne, Steve "Popop" Ruth, Norm and Mary Williamson, John (Kathy) Gersper, Maria (Jesus) Cano. Aunts and uncles Shannon (Steve) Kenney, Aidan (Mitch) Ruth, Janet McDowell, Jesse (Hallie) Burhenne, Bill McDowell, Joey and Lisa Jerome, Dan and David Gersper, and CJ Wolford. Cousins Lily, Mabel, Jill, Michael, Josh, and father figure and friend Darren Homorody. She is preceded in death by her guardian angel and grandma Opal.

Visiting hours will be from 1-3pm and a memorial service will be from 3-3:30 on Friday September 16th at Newcomer Funeral Home in Powell, Ohio.
Bunni's family will purchase a memorial for her at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium so that her son Phoenix can joyfully remember her there.
