He is preceded in death by his parents, Sgt. James T. Bourne and Carol (Stephens ) Burris, step-father, Robert Burris, children, Sheri Bourne, Steve Bourne.
Surviving family includes, children, Daphne (Robert) Hanrahan-Bruce, Rick Bourne, Terry Bourne, brothers, Steve Burris, Mike Burris, David Burris, Darren Burris, grandchildren, Brittany, Nicholas, Skyler, Nicole, Maddalynn, Hannah, Lil T, Jayden, great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Aubree.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00pm, Tuesday, April 23, 2013, with a funeral service to begin at 5:00pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 540 Office Center Place, Suite 100, Gahanna, OH 43230 or Alzheimers Association, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
