Calvin Spradlin, 71, Columbus, passed away Friday, October 29, 2010. Calvin was born in Argellite, KY on June 30, 1939, to Richard and Martha (Gearhart) Spradlin and is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Matthew. Survivors include his wife, Norma (Penick) Spradlin; daughter, Cindi (Floyd) McIntire; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; family friends, Richard and Jimmy; cousins and many friends. Calvin retired from OSU after 30 years of service. He was a 26 year member of COGF. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010, 3-7PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with a "Celebration of Life Service" at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to COGF, 100 West Third Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201.
