Cameron Luckett Matthews, 48, of Rising Fawn, GA, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at his residence.
He was born July 27, 1964 in Columbus, son of Carl Matthews of Minerva Park and Charlene (John) Luckett Hull of Westerville.
In addition to his parents, Cameron is survived by his companion of 10 years, Dr. Sandra Jean Carmichael of Rising Fawn, GA; stepbrothers, Warren (Janet) Hull and Fred Hull; stepsister, Cathy Werley all of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Denise Matthews Thomas. Visitation will be Friday, July 26, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Don Ruby and Rev. Curtis Booth, officiating.
Interment will be in Blendon Central Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society, 5700 Karl Rd. Columbus, OH.
