CALL
Carl Edward (Bud) Call Sr., 73, of Baltimore, Ohio, passed away at 1:30PM on October 8, 2006. Born January 15, 1933 in Scioto County to the late John Call and Clara Sutton Call. He attended Valley Schools in Lucasville, Ohio before serving 20 years in the United States Air Force. Received his high school diploma from Webb Air Force Base in Texas. He served 3 overseas tours in Korea, Netherlands and Thailand, also a retired letter carrier from Upper Arlington Post Office. Carl was a scout member in Lucasville, Ohio and past scout leader of Troop #1 of Big Springs. Texas, the oldest troop west of the Mississippi River. Later a scout leader of Lithopolis, Ohio troop #241. Life memberships include VFW, DAV, REA, and NAUS. He loved traveling and music. He married Mary (Legg) Call on December 25, 1954 in Lucasville, Ohio and she survives. He is also survived by daughters, Vicki (Joseph) Courtney, Candy Call; son, Carl (Melissa) Call Jr.; grandsons, Eric, Kolby, Nathaniel; granddaughter, Ashleigh; great-grandchildren, Kiley, Christopher, Kaedin; step-grandchildren, Tim (Tammy), Jimmy (Angie), and Kaleigh; sisters, Mary Ann, Eloise, Tena and brothers, John, Bill, Jim and Ron. Carl was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Jean Burchett. Graveside services will be held 10:30AM Friday, October 13, 2006 at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio with full military honors.
